Pace Child and Family Wellness Centre in Richmond Hill

Josh Kline | Registered Psychotherapist

“I am a Registered Psychotherapist who holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I have a variety of experiences working with young adults and geriatric populations with mental health and addiction concerns. My most fulfilling experience was volunteering as a Crisis Responder with Kids Help Phone. I practice with a client-centred modality with a humanistic focus. This means recognizing the strengths of the client and using the unique attributes they possess to overcome their problems. I use a collaborative problem-solving approach where insight is gained by working together, instead of being ‘directed’ towards a certain approach or solution. I value the input of the client and everyone involved in their care plan and encourage active participation from everyone involved. He believes the goals and insight of both the client and their support network are valued and essential to maximize the potential benefits of therapy.”

Josh’s broad range of experience with various populations allows him to adapt his therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of his clients effectively. His dedication to a collaborative and inclusive therapeutic process helps clients build resilience and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. Josh’s commitment to mental health advocacy and his passion for client empowerment through therapy make him a pivotal member of the Pace team.
