Julie Cohn | Speech and Language Pathologist
Julie Cohn is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist and is certified by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada, an accreditation which indicates that Julie has met the standard of knowledge set by SLPs across Canada. Julie holds a Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Science from the University of British Columbia.
Julie has presented her work at such venues as the Internationally Educated Professionals Conference, and has contributed poster presentations at conferences among researchers in the Speech-Language Pathology field. Julie has also participated a variety of workshops, including The Toronto Voice Course and the Art Heals Health Heals Art Symposium.
Julie’s current and prior practice include intervention in the areas of pediatric speech, language, and fluency; professional communication, language rehabilitation, social skills, swallowing, accent modification, fluency, and various other clinical areas with clients of all ages.
Julie practices client-centered care and advocates for anti-oppression frameworks. She is an active supporter of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and social justice work. In her leisure time, Julie enjoys skiing, travelling, trying new foods, and dancing.
